Soccer Hat & Owl Hat - These wonderful hats are part of a group of projects sold by DMC. Made from acrylic yarn of all different types and textures, includes a "character" pom pom. It came out great. Made it in the adult small size. Perfect for the kids! Purchased at the Yarn Attic in Hillsborough. Have several more to make - next year's holiday gifts for the kids!

Spring Leaves Cardigan - This is a Nicky Epstein design from her "Knitting in Circles" book. I used Tosh Vintage in Plaid Blanket for the MC, and Cascade 220 Superwash for the circle and front band accent. Modified the front placket to be a straight Icord in 3 sections, rather than the applied braided one in the original design. A bit more flattering for my body type, and was able to pick up stitches for the first inner Icord, instead of sewing it on the sweater body. The yarn was purchased from WEBS and Knit-A-Bit in Westfield (along with the book). Was very inspired to do this  after attending the trunk show at Knit-A-Bit. Nicky brought all the designs from the book and we were able to try everything on. Made one of the hats in the book as well, which I posted earlier to the blog.

Cruzado Cowl - A Dream in Color Dream Club project (Ocotber 2014). A mobius cowl design by Laura Nelkin and Dream in Color Classy in rich rustic colors. Wore it a lot this past winter. Purchased at the Yarn Attic in Hillsborough NJ.

Zuni Cowl -  Another Dream in Color Dream Club project (January 2014). Unique construction with a vertical cable band and a surrounded by 2 wide ribbed bands. Made from Perfectly Posh Sport in 2 different colors. Design by Kay Dahlquist. Purchased at the Yarn Attic in Hillsborough NJ.

Safety Scarf - Another Stephen West design that I found on Ravelry to use some Yarn Hollow yarn I received as a gift from my mother-in-law. The design really highlighted the colors in the yarn.

Pom Pom Hat - A quick project that came as a kit. The furry pom pom came with the yarn, and was able to knit this up in a less than a day. Purchased at the Yarn Attic in Hillsborough NJ.

Cascade Throw - This was called the Cascade Ripple Throw. I had it in my stash for years, and finally knitted it up and gave it away to charity. Made from all different kinds of Cascade yarn, all dyed in the same rustic brown color way. Came out really nice.
